Compatibility
Simultaneous dual-camera recording is not a universal iPhone capability. DualShot shows the modes your current device reports as available and falls back to single-camera recording when needed.
1. What determines whether dual-camera mode is available
- Your iPhone model and hardware camera combination.
- The multi-camera capabilities provided by your current iOS version.
- The format, resolution, frame rate, and hardware cost of the selected lens combination.
- Storage, battery, temperature, and system resources during recording.
- Whether another app is currently using the camera or microphone.
2. Possible modes

3. Why we cannot promise support on every device
Apple's multi-camera support is determined by both hardware and iOS. Even if a device has multiple cameras, some combinations may be unavailable because of hardware cost, output formats, or system limits.
